Onken, the dairy brand, has appointed Karmarama to its advertising account after a pitch. The move comes as Onken looks to relaunch its brand in the UK. Betfair, the online bookmaker, has appointed Karmarama as its digital agency after a pitch. The account spans social media, mobile, product development and online creative. A strategic investment by private equity investor Phoenix Equity Partners into advertising agency Karmarama will allow the creation of a new group in the marketing communications sector. The investment, which also encompasses associate companies Kream and Kaper, is going to be the first of several investments, initiatives and acquisitions for Karmarama.
