As part of a massive overhaul of their in-store EPOS systems, a leading UK retailer asked us to help set a vision for the future of payments on and offline. That vision needed to drive not only the RFP process for a huge IT investment but set the course for a world beating - and human centred - payment experience.
To make sure we focused on the real needs of the business and consumers we picked an example journey and used that to bring the future and it’s requirements to life.
In just 6 weeks we analysed the current human experience, showed a leading UK retailer outside inspiration, co-created a set of product ideas and brought one to life in detail whilst also recording a set of requirement for the RFP. Due to the success of the project, we were asked us to roll out the workshop for another 5 journeys.
