The Design Museum asked us to create an installation for their New Old exhibition that explored the potential for designers to meet the challenge of a rapidly ageing society and reimagine the experience of our later lives.

We created ‘Learn from Experience’, a bookcase filled with volumes such as How to Take Criticism, Death and Winning Over the In-Laws - all authored by the same fictional author, Sylvia Clark.

It demonstrated how age is not a number, but a series of experiences that lead to wisdom. Our comment on ageing culture was featured on the front cover of Creative Review magazine.
